Is it just me or another also think that the FX35’s steering wheel looks lot better than ours? It has nice center round that looks more sportier and compact than ours. I like it so much I’m going to find out if it can be replaced. Because they have have button setup, I’m sure it can be done relatively easily. My big question is if the airbag can be saved or not. If I can keep my airbag, the steering wheel cost should be about $300 or so. I used to have BMW 330i and it cost me $300 to replace the stock with the M3 steering wheel.

I actually sat in a FX35 and its steering wheel felt much much better, even tought it was little smaller than ours.

I assumed the G had the same wheel.
I dunno, chalk it up to budgets etc.
The FX35 has the same wheel as my Z does.

the FX is beautiful, but ew, that orange interior color scheme just ruins it for me. i like the graphite or willow much, much better.

I am sooo glad that someone else said that first. I think that interior color (camel?) looks terrible! It almost looks like they were trying to match the amber lights. Yuck. But that's just my personal opinion...

I thought it looked like crap warmed over... at first. Once I started spending more time around it (when car shopping), I started to like it. Drive one around for a day, and your opinion may change. Black with that interior looks pretty damn sleek if you like it. It's hit-or-miss, much like the styling of the FX in general.

I like the G's better, I really didn't like the 350Z wheel.

Woah I remeber asking a question similar to this a while ago. I rather have the FX/350Z/Maxima steering wheel over the G's.
I dunno if you can change the steering wheel but if I am not mistaken 330i and the 5 series do come with an m sport option where you get the M logo steering wheel and shifter.

 

Instead of saying better steering wheel, check out the gauges. Those are a lot better than the g35.

 

You're right.. Those chrome rimmed gauges are hot.. Like BMW's.
