So my girl tells me that her scion tc had the option of the rearview dimming mirror and that the side mirrors dim too... does our G come with this is if you have the dimming rearview mirror?

 

the rearview mirror dims, but im not sure about the sides.

 

I was thinking this today...well tonight rather...i was being tailgated by this raised chevy truck with these mother F*cking blistering headlights.....i was thinking about how our god damn cars do not have dimming mirrors on the side.....i was going to see if they made them

 

ours don't dim by my wife's jeep does. it's nice sometimes if they're riding your a$$ or if they have their brights on.

 

means you are going slow....so move over to the right lane...

 

only the rearview dims, the side mirrors dont... the rearview tends to get greenish when bright light is reflected on it.

I ride with my side mirrors adjusted outward just enough that brights behind me don’t shine in my eyes. My center mirror already shows who is behind me, I use the sides to monitor my blind spots. If I need to watch my six via a side mirror, I simply lean my body. I learned this trick because I drove a Fiero in high school. (Fiero side mirrors are below the cutoff line of the headlights of many cars)

 

tint solves all these problems

 

I just position the mirror to reflect back to the people behind me.

MY sisters 06" maxima SL has rearview plus both side view dimming mirrors, really useful.

that's the rule of the road i follow the most, short of turn signals. it's usually people driving like morons in the slower lanes, ride people's asses and don't move into the fast lanes.
