G35 front alignment issue

I have a 2006 sports package with 7k and it was making a noise similar to a flat tire sound. I took the car to the dealer and they said it was the front alignment and that it is common in the G35 coupe. Long story short they billed for new tires and alignment $800 but I got the dealer to do it free. Please make sure you guys get your alignments done frequently to avoid this issue.

What kind of noise is it? I have had my alignment done countless times. My car is just loud inside when im going from around 20-40 its just loud inside the car and it sounds like the suspension or either the wheels need balanced i have no idea. I just had the alignment done on my car and now the mother fvcking steering wheel is crooked the car drives str8 but the wheel is **** eyed and the infiniti symbol points to the left. The car seems to drive str8, but the handeling is different im affraid to corner hard in it....did you have any of this? How much did they quote you for your alignement at the dealer?

If you had a proper alignment job done, the last thing they 'should' have done is road tested the car to make sure the steering wheel is centered. If anything makes me freak it's what you describe. If you paid by credit card then dispute the charges, if you paid cash then tell them you'll report them to the Better Business Bureau if they don't make it right for you.

Half assed front end shops are all over the place sorry to say

the only alignment issue is that the car has a very aggressive alignment compared to most cars

Yeah I JUST got back from Firestone after getting an alignment and just like you, my steering wheel is slightly to the left but drives straight when its there. Luckily I have the lifetime alignment with them so I'm going to take it back to see what they can do.

I didn't get my alignment done at the dealer to save a little money, and my car has a pretty bad shimmey at high speeds, so I'm definitely gonna do it at the dealer from now on.
