Okay car stalled again this morning while I was gunning it. I wasn't even at 80 mph. I shifted to 2nd gear and it just shut off. I have the Injen CAI. Previously when I first installed the CAI, I completely removed to foam insert. I called Injen for some advice and I did what they told me. I resetted the ECU and reinstalled the foam insert. Any suggestions? Should I put back my stock intake?

 

Do a search, I have posted a lot on this topic. Anyways, your car should run fine if you re-installed that foam peice, also put back the plastic flap.

What are you doing driving in 1st doing 80mph or 3rd and down shifting into 2nd ??????

Most posts about this topic states that stalling occurs at 80 mph then putting the car into neutral. I was not driving 80 in first gear.

What I did was a stand still launch.I didn't even get to redline in first gear when I shifted to 2nd and my car stalled. Also this morning, i gunned it from a rolling start and the car almost stalled again shifting from 3rd to 4th (VDC off)

Do I have to drive my car normally after resetting the ECU so that it will adjust or was it wrong to gun the car after resetting?
