Re: splash guard isstallation?
Hi there. I bought my splash guards from Grubbs too and installed them last week. They are very easy to install but you do have to remove each wheel to get the drill in there to make the required holes. You might be able to get away with only removing the back wheels if you have a right angle drill.
Good luck!

I installed the splash guards a couple of weeks ago. It's a pretty simple job. They come with instructions which clearly show you what to do. They call out metric drill sizes, but you can use English equivalents. The biggest hassle is that you need to remove the rear wheels to install the rear guards. Only other recommendation is to make sure you clean the mounting surfaces (per instructions) adequately to optimize bonding of the double-backed tape. Good luck!

Re: splash guard isstallation?
I had to remove the rear wheels in order to get to the drill spots. The front wheels weren't an issue, just turn them all the way to the right/left. I also cleaned the surface with 50-50 alchohol-water solution and still couldn't get the double sided tape to take for more than 5 minutes - even with steady pressure. I don't think the amount of tape they use is enough. Maybe it was the humidity that day. Anyone else have this problem?
I'm going to have to remove them and see if I can get wider tape to re-apply. This time using more coverage.
