Getting Noticed
Getting Noticed
You know, it's nice to be noticed every once in a while, but I'm curious about what kinda comments you guys get from random people. I live downtown St. Louis and everytime I go to the gas station at night, I get 2 or three bums that come up and start talking to me about my ride. I'm a young black male, so they always assume that i'm stacked with cash, but **** I wanna just tell them to get cleaned up and find a job (and maybe a good loan [jokes]). I do like getting random comments from girls though. Last week after leaving a bar, some chic on the sidewalk tells me she loves my car and wants to f*k the $h!t out of me, and as she stumbled towards my car her **** blocking friend dragged her away. Still gotta luv it though.
The occasional look and or comment is always nice. I'm still in high school so there's plenty of "lucky bastard" type comments. Not so much on the street but there is the occasional thumbs up or smirk from another G or STI/350z owner.

One jealous idiot kept trying to convince me that the car's "too small for me."
I'm 6'2", 195lbs, and I fit fine inside of it... in fact, I got plenty of leg and head room, I say. He goes on saying that it's a toy car, and that i should just get an accord... lol
then one guy at AutoZone starts talking to me about the 99cent fuel injection cleaners. I go, "try chevron techron, it works really well." Then he looks at my car and replies by saying "yea, you would buy that expensive sh*t... we're not all millionaires, buddy"

Yeah, I understand, T got-em2. I'm also a young black male. Just today, I went out pick up some pizza to eat and this lady walking in front of me with her husband and two little kids asks "what year is your car?". I reply "2006" and her husband grabs her arm as if I was trying to hit on her. As her husband whisks her away I couldn't help but laugh. I have to admit I like the attention, but the cops racial profile like a ****. I didn't quite understand what racial profiling was until I bought this car. One time a cop actually did a U turn in an intersection just to run my plates! One of these days the cops are going to make me rich when I sue there @ss. Other than that nonsense I get at least one compliment/comment a day from people. Here are some of the popular ones:
1. Female "What kind of car is that?"
2. Male "Nice ride!"
3. Male "d@mn, where do you work at?"
4. Female "what is that?" "it looks expensive".
5. Male "can I get an application?!"
6. Male "are those rims stock?!"
7. Male "how much that run ya?"
8. Male "I was going to get one of those but, ..........."
