Crappy Shoes...................

Just be happy your not running Bridgestones! The
wear factor on those tires is 140. Drag radials have
160..........I had a set of B/Stones on my 300ZX TT
and they only lasted 10K.....great tires in the rain but
for $1200 a set I expected more. You should get at
least 30K from your Michelins Pilots!

I've got 38k on my stock Potenzas right now. Treadlife on rears is close to 0. Its like I'm running slicks. =( Fronts aren't that bad but front driver side is bad on the inner edge and the passender front has feathering problems. But I guess its amazing I got that much mileage out of them to begin with. I'm planning on getting some PS2s on order soon.

You cant compare treadwear ratings between different brands of tires. No manufacturer goes off the same rating system as others.

Since I only got 15k out of my stock Bridgestone Potenza 19"s, I don't think it can get much worse. But I wonder if the Toyo Proxes are any better or worse? Someone who has them, please comment.

DONT EVEN COMPLAIN. this is a bridgestone S0-3 after only ~6k. yes, due to massive camber. no, this is not very relevant to the thread... im just trolling

That's just the way it is, and they wont do a standard rating system. They havent done it since the first tire was made and they arent planning on doing it any time soon.

I'm seeing only about 5% tread left on my right rear after only 10,000 miles. All others look fine. At 18,000 on my first set, all 4 needed replacement. Now I'm at 28,000, and this. something's not right.

I got almost 30k but they are pretty close to "IRON BOARD" effect.
Going to go with Toyos, will cost me around 1100-1300.

I got 13k miles out of my 275/35/19 Toyo T1-s rears...that was with -2.9 camber. The rubber was down to the steel lining.
