Strange Burning Smell
well i have been freaking out last few days, about 2 weeks ago i lowered my clutch engagement point....worked out great, then this weekend i had decided to throw on some aluminum pedals on my 04 6MT from Grubbs (which were great as well), so i decided to raise the shift point a notch to play it safe....from that day on i have smelt this starnge burning odor when i drive, and it was freaking me out....but lo and behold after using the infamous search function that everyone complains posters dont use, i found the common plastic bag burning on my Y-pipe.....just thought id share...anyway this thread was useless, you cannot the reclaim last 90 second of your life....stop reading now....

In the worst case scenario, your adjustments are causing your clutch not to fully engage... which is really bad. You might be riding on ur clutch causing it to burn as hell.
