Sub positioning

which way do you think the sub should face. up down toward the cabin or bumping the licence plates? I thought cabin was the way to go, but have been hearing plety of opinions.

to the rear

all depends on way car is setup and type of equipment used, but generally you want to aim the subs towards the rear lic. plate....this will reflect the soundwaves back into the cabin, sort of an acoustic effect....however you need to sound deaden the trunklid to prevent rattles depending how big of a sub your using.
