What's going on guys? Bad news, some one broke my passenger side mirror while i was parked on the street. The glass is shattered and the cover is completely broken off. I definately need a replacement. Anyone here know a good site to get one for a reasonable price. My body shop guy said he can get it for $200. Is that a little steep or is it decent? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I had to replace mine becuase some malicious ***** broke mine off while in a parking garage. AIM me if you need any help with guidance of the installation, I'd be glad to offer any tips or guidance that you might need for the DIY. My screenname is partyman66 on AIM(Aol Instant Messenger).

Just be aware that if your shell is cracked, you're new mirror is going to be unpainted and you'll have to pay a professional to paint the new one.

 

call a glass company, i bought one for my gf's bmw dealer wanted 150 or so, i got the same glass for 30 bucks

 

From his description... sounds like it's more than just the mirror that's broken.

 

mine got knowcked off like 2 months after i got the car. i believe i paid around 150 installed at my bodyshop. the mirror wasnt broken but the whole shell was busted off and cracked, so i had to replace the whole thing. ive bee, pulling my mirror in ever since.
