i posted this in the wheels and tires section but i got no replies...i need to know

if there are any negative effects from having this tire setup...235/40 18 in the

front and 245/45R18 in the rear...i think the speedometer is gonna be off but

any negative effects besides that??? i might get these tomorrow so any

You might have a couple problems with your VDC. It will cause it to turn on when you are barely cornering hard. I have stock 17s and im running a 45 sidewall and it should be 50. The speedo is off a little bit and also the VDC will activate at weird times.

i dont think its going to make a huge difference. It should be fine, if you plan on messing around a little i would just turn VDC off. I would like you to post pictures though of your rims with these tires on it though. I wanted to do the same thing and i wanted to see what it looks like.

alright i was trippin...the height of the new tire is the same as the pilot sport...i

didnt realize that the second number is the percentage of the width...anyways i

got them....if you dont wanna spend around 300 per tire for the pilot sports than

i recommend these hankooks...i think they look better and its wider then the

stockers...also the treadwear is 60 better then the pilot sports...here's some

pics
