This is what we know: He replaced the springs with another Nissan OEM spring set.

the shop knows the springs are not designed to be substituted .It doesnt matter its a NISSAN part, Your logic its ok to put on a NISSAN Titan spring becausits a Nissan part number..

The OP states it takes 4-6 hours changing out the springs...It usually takes 1.5 hours to r & r springs , even less if youve done it before..

HIs location sucks being 2 hours from the nearset dealer...Unlike so cal. where we have 6 dealers with in 1 hour drive..

Compromise = less stress

What about taking it to your local alignment shop...maybe they can get you staightened out...

By the time I get all my tools out, jack the car up and put it on stands, use the spring compressor to remove the springs from the struts and put the others on, put the front wheels on, go to the back and swap those out (those are quick), put the car back down, put my tools away, clean up, road test the car, it does take about 4 hours.

As for them being OEM Nissan - It does not matter who made the springs. They are designed for my application and they are not causing the pulling. Again, this is a KNOWN ISSUE - so well known that Infiniti put out a TSB concerning this.

The alignment shop could not do anything to correct the pulling. I told them about it when I brought it to the shop to get it aligned after installing my springs. The pulling was just as bad after it was aligned.

Dtor - keep giving 'em hell! What a freakin' drag. This sort of bass-ackwards thinking irritates the living hell out of me.
I feel as probably mostly everyone else does and want to mod my car but really, how many mod friendly dealers are out there?

^^ Well, it doesn't matter to me anymore (mod friendly dealers). I just hung up the phone with the company that I am purchasing an extended warranty through. I can take my car to ANY ASE certified shop for warranty work for another 3 years/50000 miles, and no deductible.

I know a couple of "mod friendly" ASE cert shops in town.

Screw the dealers.

P.S. - My car turned 60000 miles as I pulled in to my parking spot this morning.

NVM I found it! woo!

My car does that as well! I was not aware that it was a TSB. I should take mine to get fixed when i get the axel clicking fixed as well.

How much is the cost if the car is out of warranty?

I'm in SoCal, so there are quite a few. It would suck to be in a position where there are not though.

dealerships just wait for the customers to do a small thing for them to start denying warranty work. I had tons of problems with my other car.

Yeah, definitely nice to have a mod friendly dealership. The dealership I use does a lot of mod installs for people, and they've even gone so far as to tell me that intakes, exhaust, springs, sways, etc. won't void the warranty (unless you do something really stupid of course).

The compression rod TSB has absolutely nothing to do with whether a car will pull or not. The issue with the compression rods is they squeak/creek when travering very bumpy surfaces at low speed. That's all.

What a nightmare...........

To me the easiest solution to your problem is to take
you car to another dealership.....yes, it will cost you
more time but you do need your car fixed! Plus, your
tired of dealing with these butheads........so don't.
This doesn't mean you don't keep after Nissan by
letting them know what retards this stealership is.
Once your car is fixed keep on there a^^es!!

So I guess you didn't bother to actually READ the TSB that I linked to.

Here's a bit of help.
