You didn't have to remove the front bumper. You can get to the filter area by removing or just bending back the front driver side inner fender splash guard. Just a little heads up, so when it comes time to service the filter (cleaning it, which you'll find you'll need to do quite often) you wont go and remove the whole front facia...

Installed mine last night. Took about 2.5 hrs beacuse I am nerotic and must make sure everything is perfect. I took off the tire and the plastic inlay and it was not problem. The only error I occured was when taking out the foam, the bumper was in the way and I ended up tearing a strip of it off. I will be test driving it on my way to work and will post post pics and reviews tonight.
