Clutch Question???
Clutch Question???
Ok, I have about 38000 on my '05. Recently when I drive my car, I notive the clutch begins to get mushy. The peddle also does not come all the way back up. It still grabs, but it makes me nervous. After a few hours of cool down, clutch is normal. I don't understand what is going on.
If the clutch was bad, wouldn't do it all the time? The car goes in gear no prob, just much shoter pedal range. This is also driving my car in normal traffic. It will do it sometimes if I have been cruising at 85-90 for a long period of time, 30-40 mins.
Any help??

Anyway, ~33K miles here, and still feels like day one...
Get a SS clutch line. I can't say that I ever experienced the issue with my stock clutch, but I started experiencing the exact same issue the day I put in my new clutch.
The SS clutch line has elimenated any clutch mushiness.

Well I took it to the dealer today.......They took a quick look and told me that it would take a tear down to see what is what.......so, now I'm nervous as hell.....When I went in they were all looking at me like I was crazy because I had aftermarket parts......I told them that I am fimilar with the Magnosson Act and that just because I have an exhaust, it doesn't make the clutch go screwy.....They told me they HOPE to get it done under warranty, but clutches are a funny thing...they are kind of like brakes, they can wear prematurely due to driver error......I told him 38000 miles is VERY premmature and I am highly doubtful it is because anything I have done. Saga continues Monday!!!!
