Welcome to SAE standards. On paper it has less, yes. My wife's '06 TL has 258hp down from 270 the previous yearloss of 12hp. If Infiniti lost just 5hp from non-SAE to SAE corrected, they were either very optimistic before SAE or they've increased HP this year to help offset using SAE corrected results. I'm guessing the latter, but who knows.
Wifey was actually concerned her TL had less power than last years. I'm glad she didn't get a IS250 because she thought it was slow and gutless, lol.

Sedan has 306 HP
My wife just took delivery of an 06 LP Sedan w/ sport pck and sunroof. The dealership had an 07 LP Sedan out front with a G35S badge on back. Had 18" wheels all, and they have gone to staggered size.
Anyway, they did not have pricing yet, but it had the automatic and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
Window sticker listed 306HP.
FYI, salesman said the 07 G35 was really going to be priced liked a baby M. It will have much wider pricing range based on more options availalbe and the way they will be packaged.
Styling is subjective, but it was a beautiful car. I still like the 06 as well.
