Sure.. if your definition of "nice" is any of the following:

*5-6 months straight of weather that never goes above 45 degrees and you see the sun maybe once or twice a week max

*road salt eating up your cars frame and scratching up the paint as well as making it look like crap

*long and dangerous commutes to work due to snow and ice, complicated by the fact that you can't see around any corners because there are several feet of snow piled up into mounds that block your view of oncomming traffic

*trying to avoid crazy idiots in SUV's who mistakenly think they can safely drive 10-20 MPH above the speedlimit in the ice/snow because they have 4WD but fail to realize that that they can't slow down or stop any better than a regular car

*hours and hours of shoveling snow out of your driveway after every storm

*falling on your back on your stairs because they are solid ice when you walk out the door in the morning

*hoping your car is reliable enough that the doors will not freeze shut overnight from the cold, and that it is also reliable enough to start every day before work/school

*spending 5 minutes wiping snow off of the car every time it storms, and another few minutes scraping ice off of your windows every morning whether it snows or not, and then freezing your *** off on the ride to school/work as it warms up before any heat is pumped through the heater

*Working on your car outside in below-freezing temperatures(those without a garage) and having a ratchet or other metal tool get frozen to your hand or getting frostbite because the metal ratchet/tool conducts cold soo well.

*getting stuck in deep snow and having to dig it out in 25 degree cold

*putting on multiple layers of clothing every time you go outside and still being cold

*never doing any outside sports in winter that don't involve snow(skiiing, boarding, etc)

*6 months of which you see almost no color in nature because all the plants and grass are dead and leaveless

*huge heating bills to offset the tremendous outside cold, and you can't just keep the heat low... or your heating pipes will explode(assuming you have baseboard heating)

*Feeling like you live in the middle-east because you can never see any skin on hot girls walking around since they are all bundled up from head to toe.

Not to be a pessimist... but this place sucks!

If only I had a garage, maybe 1/4 of those hated winter things wouldn't exist. Haha. I would kill for a garage.

Bang on with the below assessment. Having moved from Canada to Cali last year one thing I definitely don't miss is the snow! Give me t-shirt weather every day any time!
