Locator Pin Help

I went to test fit my winter wheel package and the locator pin is in the way (I assume it is the locator pin). How do I remove this thing? Do I just undo the gold colored bolt?

It is a simple question. I just wanted to be sure that simply unscrewing it would not mess something else up. As we all know, there can be a lot of unintended consequences from just unbolting something without checking first.

You are right, sometime what you see it's just the tip of the iceberg...

Won't mess a thing up. Keep them for when you put OEM's back on. They're there so that you don't mix the fronts with the rears....and yes they just unscrew (10mm wrench)..save the parts.
