hey boarders out there, i was wondering if you guys know anything about snowboarding racks that would fit our g35 COUPE??

i have an 03 coupe..

i needed a rack because i might have a 3rd or 4th person taking up the backseats, therefore folding down the back seats would not be quite feasible..

 

Why do you need a rack? Just fold the rear seats down. You can fit a 163 in there without a problem. Two boards and two people in the front.

I think s/he just doesn't want to stink up the inside of his car with a dripping wet snowboard.

 

ski/borad bag ... can't beat that for 20/30 bucks

 

^^ +11 Definetly cheaper then a rack... besides a ski rack would kill the look of the car imo lol... i cant wait to hit the slopes this winter !

Make two trips man, its not worth the loss of style for your G.

 

Did you get snow tires yet? I wouldn't even try getting to the mountain in my g, buy a beater and use that.

 

yeah i just got some snow tires, the dunlop m3, supposedly there're pretty good...

i got some feedback from a couple of ppl, and they said g35 coupe should be fine in snow as long as you have snowtires

 

i can definitely wait for the snow..i dont wanna take off my oem 19's =(

 

Can't wait for the snow myself. It has been a couple of years since I've been skiing. This is because I have the G, and I can't take up the mountains So, I will have to rent a car or borrow one.

 

You definitely won't be able to find a rack that can do 4 boards. My friend has a massive QX56 with a snowboard hitch, and that is only designed for 4. Now way will you find a rack or hitch for a G35 that does more than 2.

Tell one of your other friends to drive. You might get away with three boards and three people. Put the two smallest people in the back. Place the three boards in the front passenger side with the seat reclined a tad. You may need to have them stick out of the sunroof if the rear leg room is an issue.

But seriously... 3-4 people going snowboarding in a G? kick one of them out and tell them to drive.
