I was wondering if anyone has added an aftermarket turbo or supercharger, and if so how the car performed or handled. Are there just rumors or is Nismo coming out with any of these systems?

 

Well no one has done it yet, mainly because nothing is offered yet. I believe its a positive that NISMO will be coming out with a supercharger for the Z around april, but the G is still a rumor.

 

I know of a guy who says he has placed an order with an Infiniti dealer to install a supercharge (six grand!) This supercharger is allegedly coming from a company called Alpine with NISMO/R-Spec's blessing. It will be covered under warranty. It is supposed to add 60 HP to coupe. Hundred bucks a horse is expensive, but then we are talking a dealer install with warranty coverage.

Again, I have not personally confirmed this - it is only what I have read elsewhere.
