2004 Coupe.
Non-brembo brakes have squeaked since I got the car last year (34K at the time). I've had the pads changed. (Don't know what they put on there) Squeaked the next day and never went away. I've put 2 or 3K on the car since the brake change and I'm at 40K right now.
I want to be able to sell the car in another year for a newer model, but the brake bull$hit is going to kill what I could get for it.
I'm fine with getting aftermarket brakes if that is going to solve the problem. $1500 is the most I really want to spend to fix this problem.
I'll paypal you 50 cents for the right solution.

If you didn't put a synthetic brake lube on the back of the pads, they will squeek. Brake quiet or other generic brake caliper lube will work. It also helps to properly bed the brakes immediately after changing brake pads.
I recommend a total brake job. New Pads, replacing or refinishing rotors and getting all the rust off on the hub where u mount the rotor. Always spread anti-seize lub behind the pads and where u mount the rotors. 75% of the time those thos stop squeal spray dont work. This is coming from the person who's is in the industry.

BUT if your going to just trade it into a dealer then IMO just put some stop sqeek on it before you trade it in..

My stock non-brembo brakes recently squeaked also - checked fluid, lines, rotors and pads, still good. Checked again and learned that the mechanic who replaced the pads forgot to put the shims (spelling?) back on, hence the squeaks! Shims back on, no squeaks! Hope this help!
Just replaced last night with JBT 6-piston/14" fronts and 4-piston/13" rears! Hell Yeah!

Pads and rotors and use top quality parts if your dealer isnt doing it get the parts from them and let your mechanic use them the sqeek should definetly be gone then if not brig it into the dealer and let them take a look
Yes, JBT are Taiwanese made but they are built, look, and feel solid - JBT and Rotora calipers look identical, just different names - Brake on a dime!
My motorsports shop guys recommended, I saw them on a Carrera - looked awesome - I'll post my G pics next week.
Check out the photos on the right side of JBT's website:
