A couple of questions

I have a 5AT coupe with about 1600 miles on it. I noticed that in the manual mode shifts from 2nd into 3rd under moderate acceleration are rougher than any other shift. Is it normal?

I also noticed that there is a squeaking/creaking sound coming from the area of driver's side sun visor. Is it something the dealer can take care of?

Thanks!

I remember my 05 doing the same thing when I first got it. In my case it turned out to be the wire/cable connected to the auto-dimming mirror. I never would have expected that kind of noise could have been caused by a wire, and the only reason I found it was because I had checked almost everything else it could have been without success. I just unplugged it and flexed it a bit, then plugged it back in. Problem solved! I hope yours is this easy to fix. Good luck!

Did it work for you? In my case, a rougher shift does not always happen. Sometimes it shifts smooth but sometimes (under moderate acceleration) it make this "thump" sound and jerks a little. Under maximum acceleration the effect is less or maybe just less noticeable.

To add to the creaking sound from the roof on the driver's side, there is one more new sound the car makes when I make a left turn. Something rattles in the moonroof area, somewhere behind it. It only happens in a left turn and it does not have to be a sharp turn. It rattles no matter if the moonroof is closed or tilted. Did not try with it slid open though. Did anybody had anything like that? The car only has 1900 miles yet...
