Buyer's Remorse

Just bought authentic INGS+1 trunk spoiler and head and tails eyelines, new, for $570 which includes shipping on ebay. Did anyone happen to come across this item on ebay? The seller has a 100% rating with 70+ transactions.

Looks like a pretty good deal based on comparison with bulletproof pricing (688 for wing, 150 for headlight eyelines, 150 for tails -> plus sales tax as I live in California). What do you guys/gals think? Thanks for your input.

IMO..i would never buy from someone on ebay with so little transactions. Especially when it includes car parts. If you do buy it make sure its with paypal at least.

I would rather go with someone who is a powerseller, or has 500+ transactions minimum. Thats my method for buying off of ebay.

^i think he did...i didn't even notice that. I guess he's trying to help promote the seller.

Its best to give your own first hand experience so that others can prejudge from that. Its kind of late now since you ordered. You can see for yourself where ppl stand with ebay. None the less I Hope the transaction goes through smoothly.

Ings

Haven't finalized the transaction yet. Are you guys recommending that I not go through with it? Should I demand pics? If it is authentic, pretty good deal?

BTW, I have no affiliation with the seller.

something to look at is...

the buyer states that they are authentic "ings". but if he wanted to be a stickler about things, he could say that he named his parts "ings" that look similar to "Ings+1", instead of the actual company of "Ings+1". Beware, I've seen small things like that, hold up when it comes down to it.

other than that, let's keep our fingers crossed for you.

This auction seems a bit suspicious to me....
With sellers and items like this I always look to see if they have sold a similar item before and then contact the buyer to see if they really got what they paid for and were satisfied with it.

I hope everything works out in your favor with this buy and you get genuine parts and not some cheap Chinese rip-off copy.

well thats good you haven't finalized it yet. Demanding actual pics is the best thing. NOT a solid foundation for you to go ahead with the transaction, but at least you can see the product you are suppose to be getting. You can use that in a claim against him if th product is not what he was suppose to ship to you. IMO i wouldnt do the transaction. At the moment demand ACTUAL pictures of the product and see what results unfold. If he seller is unwilling to give actual pics, or is giving you the run around take your business else where.

I honestly would not go through with it. They are in China, my wife bought a ring from there on ebay and it took months to ship. If there is a ring that takes that long then think about the ings kit and how long it may take. Not trusting this one as I am a 550 plus Powerseller, there are some red flags here.

you should always ask for pics before you bid, not after. Ebay auctions are considered legal contracts, at least I'm pretty sure it is.

Yeah, this China thing has me worried. I was so excited when reading the product description that I totally missed the fact that this is where the seller is based. My f$%@-up.

I emailed the seller x 2. No response yet. So, will I be banned from ebay for renegging? What's the worst that can happen?
