anyway, so MY CAR GOT EGGED! pissed..

i figured i'd vent to you guys because you guys would understand me. i'm pretty po'ed about it. it happened outside of a friends house. she was having a birthday party so it could have been done by immature or jealous neighbors since her cars were left alone. nice neighborhood too. i didn't even think it would happen. in fact when i parked i was more worried about acorns falling from the tree above. yea i did think that and believe my bad karma has something to do with it. damn. so, the impact left the telltale circular pattern of paint chips on my nice black coupe's driver rear quarter. so after feeling sad and angry about it yesterday i searched the boards here to find many "egged" stories from last year's mischief night. i felt a little better hearing the revenge and venting that went on. so, i'm pissed that there are people that would do this type of stuff because i'm the type that ends up thinking about it, then relates it to why all the bad s*** in this world happens. it starts from the people who egg my nice black coupe! what a bunch of haters! i'll have to work an extra shift or two for my various car issues that are piling up on top of the new house i just bought! so, as i get an estimate for a couple hundred bucks for a repaint i hope karma gets them too!

People suck, plain and simple. Why people have to be so inconsiderate about a person's car is beyond me. So many people don't care if they bump, ding or scratch a car. That pisses me off to no end...

yup an estimate came out to be well over $300. the whole rear driverside quarterpanel has to be painted to match. hopefully the door doesn't have to be blended in otherwise it's more. this is to fix it right. to repaint an entire panel for a few little tiny marks is rediculous. my next alternative might be to find someone who can touchup, clear and wetsand it to match. what a pita.

Been there. The culprits were teenagers, I'm sure, with nothing better to do. It all stems from lazyass parents who don't care what their kids are doing.

I feel for ya. I had my car egged during a Christmas Eve get together.

My situation was twice as worse due to the water freezing up so fast from trying to wash off the eggs. All the rinsing did was smear the eggs and water/soap together leaving for an even bigger mess.

Damn those punk kids and haters.

Don't forget that Halloween is the worst time of year for this too. The best I can do is cover my car up.

VQdriver,

Just to make u feel better, I got the samething

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/69394-very-sad-day-g35-got-damaged.html

Touch-up paint sometimes make it worse, so if you want it done right, repaint would be the only options for paint chips.

good luck.
