any1 with nismo and plate?
I'm in Texas, so I have to run the front plate. Of course, I'd rather not and would prefer the clean look... ...but not at the expense of getting hassled. Hopefully they'll change this law here at some point

don't have to run front plates in texas, sort of an odd rule, if your car came with a front bracket then you 'have to' but if it does not have it then you 'dont have to' 99.99 its a fix it ticket...3 years in the coupe with no front license tickets just speeding
Hmm. I'd be more comfortable if I could read the law. I know about a year ago it was being proposed that Texas get rid of it, but nothing ever happened.
Nearly all new cars come without a front LP bracket but one is then installed by the dealership. They seem pretty adamant about getting that plate on before you leave the lot (in TX).
With my G, I asked Austin Infiniti to leave it off. They indicated it shouldn't be a problem since they were shipping the car to me instead of me driving it off the lot.
Per the Texas Drivers' Handbook on the Texas DMV site:
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
#6 License Plates - Must have one valid plate at front and one valid plate at the rear of passsenger and commercial vehicles except dealer plates and those commercial vehicles that are only issued one license plate.

well i just got two tickets in the past month and theyre like 50 bucks i think each. ive been lucky for awhile but now i keep getting pulled over. Thats why i asked. But thanks for the pic my car is IP also. Im considering just going to OEM.
