I need pics of your HIDs

Hello everyone, I'm doing a major report on HIDs for my business technical writing class. Do anyone have pics of your HIDs? Can you take them from inside of your car to show the beam pattern at night? I want to see the point of view of the driver. I also want a pic of the HIDs from the front outside of the car. If you can please take it after the hids are warmed up for a few mins. Thank you.

Here's a pic from last winter of my Lows (OEM HIDs) looking out at the big pile of snow in the Cul-De-Sac. Fogs and Highs off.

Those aren't exactly the stock HIDz. =) They aren't quite so nice and bright.

DragonG:

Yes they are my stock HIDs. The second pic just has the STs on. I'm reasonably happy with the stock HIDs, colour and all. There are some HIDs that of course are better, but certainly not worth going to very much expense upgrading to. The stock highs are admittedly rather weak, especially compared to the HIDs. I'm quite happy with the 9003 STs as the replacement bulbs though. This is the pic with the highs on.

Oh ur high beamz were on, I was gonna say my normal lights don't seem to illuminate so much. As for the stock HID I like the distinct look of 2 small lights, but itz just not bright enough.

I think 23 deg Celcius might have been a bit warm for all that snow to be there. My car displayed temps in the upper 40s/low 50sF last time I drove here in NYC. Maybe it hasn't been below 60 where you are yet?

23C is approx room temperature, that should be the temp inside the G.

Re: I need pics of your HIDs

He's in Canada so those readings are in degrees Celcius. Since you see two 23C readings you're most likely looking at the internal settings in the car and not the outside temp gauge.

Doing the conversion that's about 73.4 Fahrenheit...
