navigation system guidance malfunction

I'm having a problem with the stock navi in my 06 coupe. It works flawlessly (almost) until I get close to my destination then it tells me to either drive a block past or tells me to stop a block before the place I want to go. Sometimes it's out by 5 blocks or tells me to turn left instead of right. The vehicle position is dead on. The dealership has witnessed this performance but isn't willing to do anything about it till they check out another car with nave to see if it performs the same way. The problem is they almost never get a car with navi (Canada). Has anyone else had this sort of problem and if so, how was it resolved?

I have the same problem with my navi as well. 95% of the time it will function properly and guide me to my destination within 40-50 feet.
There are times where i will exit the freeway and i'll be on a parallel road right next to the freeway and it'll think i'm still on the freeway and will not realize i'm off the freeway until I pur more distance between car & freeway. on other occasions when i'm having navi direct me to a certain specific address it'll direct me to within a block of the address but not right in front as I would expect. This most happens in more densley packed/urban type address's. If i'm in the city(San Francisco) and request navigation assistance to a certain address it will get to within about 100 yards of the location and determine i'm at my destination and then terminate route guidance. In more suburban settings, such as route guidance to someones house in a residential neighborhood it usually delivers me right into their friggen driveway.
Conclusion, Navigation will be less accurate in a densely packed urban setting and more accurate in a residential/suburban setting.
