I tried searching this but no luck, i think im bad at searching... anyways, from what I have read about testpipes, I have heard some people mention that their specific year does throw a CEL with testpipes.

Im curious what years happen to not throw any codes... 2003? *crosses fingers* Could save me some trouble. Thanks!

 

Yes you will get a CEL from test pipes. There is a mod that can be done to the O2 sensor to fix that. I can't remember what it's called. I'll see if I can find it again.

no, ive had 3 sets of test pipes on my 03 g for about 2 years now, not once has my CEL come on. youll be fine

Any documented confirmation of this? I read that anything before 04.5 will not throw any CEL but I cant find the post anymore.

 

non foulers can prevent the CEL, they can be purchase at most autoparts store for cheap. some members say 03 does not have CEL with test pipe and some members says that they've seen CEL come on, on 03s.

i dont think you will have a problem with your 03

 

i had them on my 03 with no defowlers, no cel ever...only sensor that will go off is your nose from the smell of unburnt gas
