EVO gone new g35

I recently traded in the evo for a g35. thought i would post a pic of both of them. i miss the power of my evo (12's in the 1/4) but love driving my new G. the mod bug has already hit an i am bidding on a Injen intake and have a nitrous kit being put together right now. Fun stuff!!

Evo

New G

Evo's are really fast... but thats it.

You are getting everything else with the G35 with good-enough-performance.

Now that the Mod-Bug has hit you, you shouldnt have any problems getting your G35 into 12's if you have the money

Congrats on your G35... it looks almost as sexy as my Black G35

DG is second on my list... you made a great color choice too.

Wouldnt the G35 give you more attention than an Evo for the General Public?

Here in L.A, people make me feel like I ride an exotic.

The EVO does get alot of attention to the Car Enthusiasts out there... but not to the average person.

lvnvevo's EVO definately would attract more attention than an average Evo due to his visual mods though. Looks really good IMO.

yah man i switched out of the DSM world too I owned a 90 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5spd (12.2 in the 1/4) ... a 93 tsi awd 5spd( never got a time... parted it out ... blown head gasket and 1000000 other things ) 95 Mitt. Eclipse Gst spd 440hp Turbonetics t3t4 50trim turbo with EVERY supporting mod you can think of Full roll cage and everything! Never got even a run! When it got fully tuned and ready to go i blew a spark plug at the track ... when i went back 110% ready i totalled it INTO A 2004 745LI BMW! ... wasnt my fault thought thank god... and last but not least my 1998 Mitt. Eclipse GSX 5spd which i did an evoIII 16g turbo setup for it... never really raced it and it reminded me of my gst and the accident so i sold that too lol Even though i dearly miss the DSM world i dont miss the problems those cars gave me at all... i love my G and im SURE YOU WILL TOO! Welcome to the family man!

the 4g63 is an amazing motor. 26 psi all day and it wouldnt blink at me... i never had one issue (cant say the same for the older 4g's). The evo grabed more attention than i care for. its nice driving and looking at cops now, they dont glare over at me any more

Nice car!

While I don't think you'll get the G35 into the 12's quite as easily as you did in the EVO, I'm sure you'll come to love the other things about your new car.

The NOS kit should keep you happy for a little bit though.

hehe yeah, but the wing on that thing will make EVERYONE look at it u know... ive seen ppl who take their wings off because of it and make their cars look like a ugly base lancer with a bodykit

my g doesnt really get much attention where i live... PA old ladies honk and get pissed at me because i wouldnt cut off traffic and pull out of the grocery store but thats about it. no love around here in fact, my neighbor, his friend and I were talking and in his exact words he said: "yea he has a nice car. what is that uh.. a lexus?"

my GOD.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe you have a 03-04 G Coupe, not an 06 MT like your sig says. Your clearance lights and headlamp are that of a 03-04, definitely not a 05’ either because they got rid of the clearance for the 05's. If an earlier version, look out for rattling, but great car. Congrats!

Interior looks like a 05, especially the radio dials. As far as stopping, G ranks right up there or close with Porsche and others.

no that's not true..the '05s had the clearance light still. It was the '06 that actually changed the whole headlight.

But anyway..good luck with your ride.
