The color scheme in this pic (lifted from acura.com's "build and price" section) would look great but you aren't allowed to select it!

Man all those gadgets are nice. Too bad the navi system is a step below the Nissan/Infiniti, sure it has voice but was have 3D and I read it was possible to take the voice system off the Q45 and put it in the G. Its a nice car but I hate the fact its a fwd and that an Accord has lot of the same features.

The only thing you are missing is a shot of the rear which I think is the coolest looking part of the car with the intergrated exaust tips which are awsome looking imho...

That sill doesn't quite capture what I was refereing to...maybe you have to see it in person.
So did your brother run out and get a blue-tooth enableled cell phone =)
If anyone owns a tivo go to showcases than play the tl video and you can see how cool that blue-tooth feature combined with the voice activation and nav can be....

I watched the Tivo d/led commercial. I loved the interior and tech, but it really didn't turn my head with the exterior styling. I think Acura's a little afrair to go too far, and thus slightly undershoot anything new and interesting.

I figured he'd have already done that a week before he got the car, being the total gadget freak that he is, but no. His cell phone carrier hasn't got it yet, although it's expected soon. He says he'll switch carriers if it doesn't happen in a month or two. I think that will be a really cool feaure, especially the way it's integrated into the nav (ask for a restaurant, then ask the nav to call the place for you). Cool.

Oh yeah, I had another question...I thought it's supposed to have nice wood trim in the TL??
I really like this car...........
<hr></blockquote>
IIRC the wood trim is only on cars with one of the beige-ish interior colors (there are two). Grey and black interiors come with the aluminum and some carbon fiber-like bits. It may also be that only the carbon fiber-ish parts are traded for the woodgrain and the aluminum is the same in both cases (there's a LOT of aluminum). Not sure...

Re: G35C/'04 Acura TL pix
I recently saw the new TL at a dealership and I really like both the exterior and the interior. In fact, I think the new TL looks, to me, a lot better than the G35 sedan. I'm also a gadget lover, so this would be the perfect car for me...had I been looking for a 4 door sedan. In my opinion, in terms of styling, very few cars at any price is a match to the G35 coupe. Also, the G35 isn't really missing anything you really need.
But yeah, I think the TL is a hell of a car. Now I got to talk my wife into getting one if/when she starts to think about getting a new car again...:P

Re: G35C/'04 Acura TL pix
It's a very nice car designed to appeal to the masses. Most of the folks on these forums are car enthusiasts so the design is going to be too "vanilla" for most of us but I'm sure it's just flashy enough for the buying public.
