yeh i used to be against rebadging, especially rebadging with mismatching emblems (mt fuji/skyline/350gt) but now its growing on me.
my logic now: mt fuji looks way better than the nissan hamburger. all our parts say nissan on them anyway, you just cant see them. so technically our cars are already mismatching (sorry im trying to convicne myself that its worth getting skyline/350gt badges while keeping the mt fuji emblem lol - something i will get flamed for because of mismatching...hey...i used to flame people for this too! people change )

Our G35's are actually rebadged, they are skyline's. The G35 only exists in the states. Our cars are nissan's and are 3.5 GT Skyline's.. bottom line.
"In Japan, the current Skyline two-door is the car known as the Infiniti G35 Coupe in America, and there is a GT-R version coming. Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has promised that this GT-R will be exported to the United States. It's about time." http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...d=105699?imw=Y

I think it looks better too. I mean we had the Infiniti logo and then below that it says Infiniti. That's stupid! That's like having a Honda with the H logo on top and then below that it says "HONDA". Stupid IMO.

And you're right about the differences but the platform is still the same.

^^agreed
i would definitely convert to a full skyline but at this point/stage of my car its not worth the hassle of redoing the steering wheel, clock, and seats. emblems and kickplates are no problem. steering wheel is hard to find. i have no idea where to get the seats done. and the real skyline has a digital clock (or at least the 06 does) so i dont know what i would do about that tiny infiniti logo on the clock. its small but it would still bug the **** outta me
k67p67, for some reason i want to say your car is redone completely in jdm badges (inside and out) right? wasnt it difficult to get the steering wheel/seats? what did you do with the clock? or maybe im thinking of someone else...
