AC and Cruise Control Problems

03 Coupe AT - 72,000 mi - AC cold at 60 degrees, becomes heat at 61+, there's no gradual temperature change. Just cold and hot from 60 to 61. Bad relay or have to replace the whole thing. I don't mind too much because I just need cold air so I leave it at 60.

Cruise control - press button, cruise light goes up on dash but no cruise control at all. Bad relay again?

Anyone encountered these problems? Expensive to fix? Thanks. I'll post some photos of my coupe tonight - almost done with the ext modding.

The A/C problem might be the inside temperature sensor (had the same problem when the dealer did some work and forgot to connect the sensor when done).

that is your sensor - it is located under the steering wheel - looks like a small vent, just pull down the covers and connect it, i forgot to connect it when i did my dvd/navi install and i thought i screwed some wires!

Thanks, I'll check the AC sensor when I get home.

I can turn the cruise control setting to on - I see the cruise light on the dash, but I cannot set it to cruise - it doesn't hold the speed at all. All of these happened way after warranty period...

......If you can turn it on but can't set it, then check fuses. There may be 2 for those circuits.

I have the same issue with my '04 with 38,000 miles. Cruise light comes on, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. The steering wheel controls for the radio work fine. Is the relay an easy DIY job?

there's a switch (I think it makes contact with your brake pedal) that may need to be adjusted.
