Re: DVD Nav. radar detector software...
hahahaha wishful thinking
im sure if you are an uber hacker, you can make a contraption that does such a thing, im sure they have one of those at police stations, to monitor where all of their men are and determine who is closer to the crime scene and such

Re: DVD Nav. radar detector software...
There are some Nav systems (those with hard drives or extra memory storage) that allow you to enter in map information and have it stored. So, for example, if you were always driving by a store that set off your radar dectector you could enter that no the map manually. I don't know any systems that do this automatically, but yes it would be interesting to see that. What would be even MORE interesting would be that when your radar detector went off it not only marked your Nav map, but it sent that information to a central repository that other Nav systems checked and it would show up on other people's Navs as well. Sort of like Napster sharing of radar information if you get my drift. You could set time out values, for example, show me all radar detections in the city during the last hour, or last 6 hours, or last day, etc.
