Correction.....GS430's run low 14's, NOT low 13's my bad!

 

I have an 06 GS300 and 06 G35. The GS300 has only 245hp but is plenty peppy to me. They are completely different cars. The Lexus cars have that slight hesitation on initial off the line acceleration. Once in motion, the big heavy car accelerates smoothly but is shows the heaviness. The G35 always wants to go. It pulls off the line with certainty and doesn't stop accelerating until you let off the pedal. Two totally different cars. Let's not even talk about the luxury feel and fit and finish....both Lexus staples. The G35 is no slouch though. It's seats hug you the way a sports car should and they have great bolstering (thickness).
I love em both. The G35 is for spirited driving. The GS is for being cool. Best of both worlds.

I wish I had the GS430 though. Nothing like a V8.
