Sell it right away (well, maybe in the spring for a better market)

Say you are paying $500 a month, for one year, that's $6000. I assume your insurance is very high (either that or you got busted with a fake id or something), so say $1300+ for insurance, that's $7300, I'll assume you aren't driving it, so I won't add gass or maintenance.

Put that $7300 in an orange savings account, and you'd at the very least be making 4.40%, for a year that's $321. That's bare minumum, you could put that money in a CD, etc for more.

You obviously have adjusted to your payment now, so consider the money spent, sell the car, put any profit + payments into an investment. You'll come out ahead, and ready for the new coupe (plus some taillight mods, lol)

Just my 40 cents

Sorry to hear of your 'bad luck'.

:O! if you paid full and its brand new keep it. can't you just d/c the battery if you're not driving it for more than 30 days? if you're leasing or something like that its a good idea to sell it and get another one a year later. BUT!! ya its just i like to be the only owner of a new G to keep it!

i'm not sure if i can drive to school/work yet. I have to go to court later, and Ilive in an apt. on right next to campus so i have no where to drive. p.s. - never disobeying the law again. +1 to myself.

i dunno bout you but if you dont plan on driving it at all, sell it. but u can still take it out, just be careful!!! my buddy was on a DUI and had his licensed revoked but still drove, never got pulled over, never got in an accident. its risky but not too hard ot get away with
