Hey guys I am getting a new tranny installed at the infiniti dealership as we speak. If you read my other thread my tranny was making a whine noise that started at 2000 rpm and only in 1st -> 4th gear. I will update you guys once I talk to the service manager to find out the problem with the tranny later today.

nice i was having some "knotchyness" and some other issues with mine as well so far theyve replaced the shifter and master cylinder....everything seems ok now but i feel a new tranny comin in someday

Just got my car back today and the shifts are so much smoother and no more whining noise. The tech said it was the throw out rod assembly but they replaced the whole tranny just to be causcious. Well I am happy and now it is time to break the tranny in.
