Ok lemme think about this...doing 60 in a 35mph zone would probably mean the possibilty of endangering innocent lives is high. hmm...and people wonder why cops give tickets?

i guess he neither didn't think while he was doin the 60 in a 35 nor did he think when he posted this thread here

just because you have a detector doesn't mean you're allowed to go w/e speed you want.

The X50 has saved me quite a few times, but not this week, as i got my first speeding ticket in years. I wasn't even busted for going that fast, and the CHP did not use a radar gun, I think he based it off just sight. So technically the X50 did not fail me, but still got busted for 75 in a 65. I also couldn't roll down my windows fast enough, so I got busted for tint too.

I have the 8500, and it has saved me a few times, i don't know what i would do without it.

on a side note, are cops allowed to just bust you based on "how fast they think your going?" thats ludacris..

Probably not, but I was going 90 before I saw him in my rear view mirror and slammed on the brakes, I was glad he only got me for 75. No arguments on that one.

I hate CHP. I got busted on the 680 freeway for doing 80 in a 65, even though I was going <70. I had the cruise control set to 68 or 69 or something like that. CHP claims to have "clocked me going 80".

You think that's crazy... When I was in college, the local PD gave us a speeding ticket based on sound. Cop said it SOUNDED like we were going about 60 in a 25 Now that was bs. I wasn't driving, but I was the passenger in that one. My friend went to court, and brought pictures of the location of the supposed speeding. He was going to try to show that it would've been impossible to accelerate to 60 in the distance from the stop sign to the opposite end of the curve where we were stopped. If that didn't work, we were going to try to have the cop tell us what gear we were in, and bring documentation that shows what speeds are achieved in what gears in an M3. In the end the cop didn't show, so it got dismissed anyways.

Sometimes when i drive the g, I don't realize how fast im going. When i'm in my civic, its a whole different story. At least the civic is too slow to get me into any trouble.

i dont know if any 1 will agree me on this but its EXTREMELY hard for me to drivr 35mph in my G. the only speed which im comfortable with driving is 65-70. anything slower than that is just hard to keep constant for me...the bad thing is just about every where i go the speed limit is either 40 or 50mph..sucks
