I have been over there many times before and it is safer to speed here than over there , the main reason for this is that you people are allowed to undertake which makes driving 10x more dangerous. Dual lanes here the outside lane is for overtaking only as soon as you go past the other car you go back into the inside lane. On three lane roads the inside lane is the main lane used you can overtake in the middle lane then return to the inside lane as soon as possible this includes trucks (lorrys) but the outside lane is for overtaking the middle lane cars only then again you move back after you pass the car or cars you have overtook , trucks (lorrys) are not allowed in the fast lane at all and would get a fine if doing so.
What this means is that cars will only go by you in the outside lane and works very well, it was a nightmare for me to drive in the US it was like a free for all on the roads, even had cars undertaking me when i needed to exit the freeway down the slip road, maybe i should have got over sooner but when your not sure where your exit is its kind of trickyas some of the exits are from the outside lane.

Yeah, lane descipline sucks here. I've had to honk at retards that drive 20-30 under the limit in the far left lane of an 8 lane freeway before. I've even had these same retards get mad when I do that, and slam on their brakes, coming to a complete stop in the left lane of said freeway. I also hate when 5 trucks decide to pass each other, and use each lane, all doing about 25mph in a 60 zone. However, I noticed some states actually have signs prohibiting trucks with more than two axles from using any of the left lanes. (Relagating them to the right two lanes). That should be a federal law.
