Emergency Exclamation Mark Came On

The yellow/orange emergency light came on on my gagues on the left hand side.. I called infiniti, asking what it might be, they said it might because I need new brakes or brake fluid, I just picked up the car a few months ago, new 06.

I'm thinking there is no way I need new brakes already, I have about 6000kms on it.

Got me a little worried - I can't go in to check it until monday, anyone else have this light come on?

Maybe it's my tire pressure, I just put on winters a little while ago, but I got them installed at a professional place. Hmm.

Definately the tire pressure. Make sure you dont have a puncture. If it comes on again soon after refilling the tires then you probably do.

your winter tires do not have pressure sensors in them.

i have an 06 and the same light just came on today...temp dropped last night, don't know if that would make a difference...i don't have 1000 miles on it yet and tires look fine from the outside..i will be stopping at the first place with air after work to see if that gets rid of the light.

Is the pressure sensor and since you put on the winter tires you will always have it on unless you bout yourself 4 extra sensor like I did.

So is it because I switched to winters, and that's why the light is on?

Does this mean the light will be on for the whole winter?

Yes it means until you put back the tps you will have that light on.

I had the same problem, but I bought my winter rims/tires from my dealer.
Its just indicating you have a low tire pressure if anything.
My dealer tried overriding the system, but couldn't for some reason and winded up getting some free sensors.

Not really, I have replaced my wheel and didn't bother to switch the TPS to the new one. Mine come up when i drive 70mph+ for over 1hrs straight but it goes away once i shutdown and restart the car.

That is the same experience i had with aftermarket wheels. I only got the light after 1+ hours on the interstate at about 75 mph. Stopped at the gas station to filler up and had no light when i started it back up. According to the owners maunual...the tire pressure system is "disabled" when you replace the stock wheels.
