Well l bought a 06 G35 Coupe about a month ago and love the car except the Driver seat power adjustment on the right hand side Digs into my upper leg!.

If you get on the highway and put the seat all the way back and set cruise control it's not to bad.

Went to the dealer and they said they have heard about that, but really had no fix.

The salesman that sold me the car said that the 07 will have the seat adjustment back on the left hand side of the seat.


Any fix to this that you know of?

If u ever want to get rid of the seat for aftermarket let me know, I will buy the seat from u if its black.

 

I have this problem too. Let me know if you find a cure. I would like to get a seat like the 07' M that's heated AND cooled!!! I'm sure it costs an arm and a leg though. ( ha ha )

P.S. "Klubbheads", mine is black, I'll let you know if I get a replacement

 

I looked at the 07 G35 Sedan at the dealership yesterday and they have went back to having it on the Left Side. (Real Comfortable)

The service Manager told me it could cost $ 3,000.00 to switch out the left seat to 07 one not sure if he could do it

Was it Kearney Mesa Infiniti? if so I don't trust them. Had a bad experience there, but thats just me.....

I saw a mod on this site that would fix this problem. I think you had to take the leather cover off the seat frame and add more foam (denser foam I believe) around the seat controls. Any good upholsterer could do this for you and it would be a lot cheaper than replacing your front seat.

 

As I look at the seat I can see where that could be done and the controls moved down and over to the left side of the seat with the controls facing towards the left door.

That's how it was on the 07 G35 Sedan I saw today.
