Will a z engine cover fit onto the G's?

it should, it's the same engine.

I want the JDM one for the skyline.

Here are two images taken from Crawfords. Both the intakes have been modified, but you can see they both have the same bolt and mounting locations, so I will have to say it will work. The G's intake has the smooth top, whereas the Z's is "ribbed"...
