It should be the same developed sound if you're pushing 10 lbs of pressure on a supercharger, or 10 lbs of pressure on a turbo.. right? I could be wrong. But it would just make more sense that way.

How loud is the BOV? Does it sound like a BOV on a TT setup.
Not the same as turbo, but audible =)

Thanks for the comments on the gauges...definitely happy I went with those. I was considering the Zeitronix before that, but went with these.

Tomie, the oem gauges are the stock amber color. Maybe it was the camera messing with the color, but if you notice the Defi are a bit deeper orange sorta redish

So you bought your aftermarket gauges in orange? Your setup is perfect. You gotta take it to the track and post some numbers!

From my understanding this is probably one of the safest kits to run on the VQ with stock internals. I did a search on my350z.com since they have a big F/I section and read up whatever was available on other boards (6mt, g35frenzy, chicagoz etc) and everyone has a different opinion on what can be run safely with stock internals. Some people will tell you nothing is safe, some will say vortech sc, others aps turbo, some stillen...who knows. From what I read up on, this was the best/safest setup for my tastes. You should email Sharif@forgedperformance with this question and see what his reply is. He's the person I went through for the install/tune and he's super accessible. I did not upgrade any internals, but if I were to push the vortech for more boost or switch to a TT setup, down the line, then I would consider upgrading internals on my G.

Tommie - Sharif suggested the Defi gauges because they would best match the oem gauges. Glad I listened to him =)

What are the two gauges you have mounted in your pillar?

A/F? Oil Pressure?
