GPS Tracking

I was just thinking of GPS tracking and remembered an article I read about this one site in popular science. Check it out. http://www.mologogo.com/

Do a hidden hardwire install and you always know where your car is for 6 dollars a month. Not bad I say.

Damn, no one thinks this is cool? Or people are too lazy to read about it?

That is pretty cool, but I don't know if I want people to know where I am at all times.

No one will know but you. You just hide the phone somewhere in the car and you can log in to check the location of your car. I thought of this more of a security thing.

"You just hide the phone somewhere in the car and you can log in to check the location of your car." Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't hiding the phone somewhere in the car compromise the usefulness of the phone just a little bit?

Amateur radio operators have been doing this for years. It's called APRS or Automatic Position and Reporting System. It's free.
