Thumbs up

I adore my Coupe and plan on keeping it long enough to give to my son when he turns 16.

He is now 7 months old, if that gives you an idea.

^ I would agree 100% with another poster's comments of:
I think the body style of the coupe is absolutely timeless
That in and of itself equates to --> Own a G now and get looks, keep the G for another decade and you'll still get some looks!

People always want what they don't have. I see plenty of BMW owners looking at my car, especially when it's nice and clean.

Considering ive had my car <!mth i have to be happy. I figure this car will stay with me as a DD and i'll pick up a car near the $100k mark and treat it with respect as a weekend driver etc in the distant future.

Maybe go for a M6 when they decide it's time, but i can't tell the future

Bmw owners look at our cars for the design, looks, and reliability. We look at the BMW . for it's great handling skills, panache, and what "we think it represents".

I'm not that thrilled with the car to be honest. If i could get the clutch adjusted so it didn't over rev all the damn time it would be a plus. This car has more noises than my 7 year/75000 mile old accord and it's only got 4000 miles. The traction control is abrupt as hell! The trunk is worthless, thank god I have two cars. The seats are uncomforatable. It's heavy. .......

BUT, it looks and sounds good.

If I move in two years like I want to I'll put both cars up for sale and whichever I get an offer on first will be sold, I still like my Accord just fine.

Oh, you think our cars have creeks and noises, you'll be surprised what Hondas have too. My newphew has the Accord Coupe and that thing has creeks and rattles too, and it is newer than my car. Really, the grass always seem greener on the other side of the hill.

I love my car BUT I will probably choose another car once I've finished paying for it. My loan rate is pretty low at about 2.5 % I think so I'm not worried about paying it off early for a new car. I want to wait to see if the new coupe will be a significant upgrade to the current coupe, that will warrant getting it. So far, it's great and like another poster said, it's realiable. I have friends who have all those German cars and boy, many of them wished they had a realiable Japanese car instead.

Didn't you test-drive the car before buying it? Seems you would have noticed the uncomfortable seats, small trunk, weight of it before purchasing

I love my car and will keep it for a very long time! My car before this was a 96 civic and I've kept her since I bought her.... 10 years @ 190,000 miles, and then sold it to get a G!

I absolutely love my G Coupe. I will drive it until it's worn out and dies, then I'll rebuild it, modded to the max, body kit, all new suspension, custom interior etc... basically half the price of a new one invested in making my old one new again.

Oh yeah!
