Dilemma: HKS Hi-power or Tein SS

Hey guys I don't know which mod to get and obviously I cannot get both of them. Which would make the car feel more different? or which would be a better mod?

Tein SS with edfc or the HKS Hi-power Ti exhaust ?
Thanks

get tein fex with edfc, youll notice more a difference performance wise... if your just looking to change the exhaust tone with VERY LITTLE gains fo with the HKS, one of the best sounding IMO

more difference in feel goes to tein

who says HKS has very little gains? rick from fast intentions has done his research and testing and has found HKS to have the most gains aside from the fast intentions exhaust...so i dont know where you are getting the idea that HKS has very little gains...

anyway, to the original poster...
it depends what you have done so far...do you have wheels yet? if so, then coils for sure. slam that thing. personally, i would get the coils no matter what though. i can listen to the stock exhaust forever - thats not a problem. but a lifted g isnt cool lol

Get the tein SS how badass would that be...you would be like 1 of very very few people on here that has them...or you can join the 500000000 people that have the HKS.

sean

FYI- the HKS will not make your car sound cool...it sounds like a freakin motorcycle.

I have Tein coils and HKS and I would definitely say get the coils first. They made such a difference on my car and I love it. Then start saving up again and get HKS!

sorry, my fault i wasnt that clear, but theres really no noticeable gains in power when my friend got his HKS put on, ya it sounded ridiculous but i dont think the power gains are better than the handling gains of the SS. sorry bout the confusion. and like you said, the stock exhaust alone is still gorgeous

absolutely get the suspension mod first.....that's my personal rule of thumb. it's one of the most important mods IMHO.

I would say Tien SS. That's on thing that I hate about my G...the way it handles. I got spoiled in my Modded GS. I vote Suspension Mod.
