Radar Install.

Bought the Escort 8500 and i bought this hardwiring kit from best buy.

I ran the wire. There is a black/white one for fuse input. Then a ground wire.

Anyone know what other input choices I have for the fuse input, it's basically needing a 12v power supply, something easy to tap.

Any suggestions on ground to choose. I was thinking right under the steering wheel theres some big bolts on metal under that protective casing.

tap power from the fuse box near the dead pedal (where your left foot rests).

check out mike's mount and invisicord. mike's mount hangs your radar under the rear view mirror, and invisicord taps into the mirror.
or you could use the suction cups and hang it high, run the wire into the head liner, down the a-pillar, and to the cig lighter.
