I could be supercharged already!
I was just looking over the spending rampage Ive been on the last few months and added up just a few of the biggier items - a couple rifles, handgun, scuba gear (as in the entire set up, tanks, etc) - and realized I could have thrown on a supercharger for the same amount of cash.
You know what? I dont regret it at all. I always have a great time driving my car, feel it is always more than quick enough for having fun and getting through traffic, and everything I purchased will last so much longer than the SC kit. The scuba gear should last me at least 12-15 years, is much easier to maintain, and the guns will last me a lifetime and then be passed on to my kids (assuming I end up with some). I was so amped up about going FI at the begining of the year, and am so glad I didnt now.

I hear ya!! There is so much more to life then a car. I mean I love the G .. but pleaseeeeeeeee...... there's a house to furnish..trips to take... fun weekends... clothes... the G is going to depreciate soon enough anyway... yes, have fun.. buy the little mods but why dump 10,000 on a charger unless you just happen to have enough money to still upgrade houses, buy everything else in life and still be able to do it... which is a small percentage of people who truly can drop it and not even blink an eye and not miss the money... good to see you don't have tunnel vision and only focused on your car.. you will miss alot in life if your like that... ok... this is getting to deep here... just have fun bro... enjoy all the other toys life has out there for us...

Hey Stewart bro, if you seriously considering going FI next year, let me know. I am getting mine boosted in mid Jan from ***-trix perhaps we can get our cars done at the same time.

Im really happy with the way my G drives now, and as much as Id love to make it even faster my next move will be either picking up an old SUV/truck to tow my boat, or trading the G on a new one. As much as I love the car, there are a lot of things I enjoy doing that the G (or any car) isnt really suited for.
Good luck on yours though, and you better take me for a ride after you turn it into a beast!

Gator, as much as I am a gearhead and have Castrol Syntec flowing in my veins, the experiences that I have had in my life are priceless. I am sure that you have had times diving or even shooting that have given you much pleasure. You are doing right in having a variety of hobbies and pleasures.
Car experiences tend to fade away as withering leaves in the fall, while taking vacations and doing things with friends lasts a lifetime. The memories that you are creating will bring you much more satisfaction in your later life than hearing a blower ramp up the power. Your money has been well spent.
Funny thing about cars: all the money you spend now means nothing 10 years from now because you will be driving a different car and will be thinking about upgrading that one. Your money has been well spent.
