I just bought a 06 coupe here in San Diego 6 week ago and was told the new model ones were not going to be out until Next Summer.

When I went to there website today the have (10) 07 Coupes???

The spec say 275 HP for the 07G35 auto coupe and 280HP for the auto 06 G35 coupe??

This all get real confusing what going on.

Any input to this confusion??

I haven't seen any 07 coupes yet at my dealer. They 07 everything else but no cooupes.

as far as the HP, it's the exact same just different standard of measuring now. It's only lower on paper.

 

07 coupe will be the same at the 06 with some very minor changes if any at all

new sae hp/tq rating caused the lower numbers you are seeing

 

btw, the 07 coupe has been released on the infiniti website already

 

I test drove one this week and there are no differences between the 06-07...I will hold out for the 08 coupe

 

Is the 08 still slated to come out next fall? I bought out my lease on my 03 G35 with the idea of driving it until the new coupes come out, but I'm just every so slightly toying with the idea of a 328/335 coupe. I can't tell if its just that I want something different, want something now/don't want to wait, or I actually like them.

seen the 07 Infiniti G35 Coupe today at the SF Auto Show. Its the same exact thing as the 06, at least i didnt notice anything different.

im also holding out for the 08 coupe.. altho that bmw 335i coupe is VERY tempting as well. test drove one, LOVED it. sure is steps above my 05 G..
i wont make my decision until i see the 08 coupe.. then then fun begins..lol!
test drove the 07 sedan and sure am impressed. im pretty sure the 08 coupe will be pretty much the same mechanically and inteiror with the sedan..not a bad thing, altho i am hoping for more hp, but i doubt it. it will def. be a tough decision when that time comes to decide whether to go with 335i coupe or 08 G coupe..hmm.. one more year to play around with my G!!

 

That just seems wrong to me. The 07 coupes JUST came out. Why would Infiniti effectively replace them by releasing the 08 version 6 months later in the Spring of 07? I hope you're mistaken...

 

I don't know about getting a new designed car the first year it comes out. I would wait till they improve the 08 coupes.

If the new coupe is nice I'll get a 2010 or 2011, when I finish gradschool, haha.

edit: Actually, by then, I'll probably go euro.
