hello everyone im new to this site and I'm wondering what I have to purchase (other then the actual navigation) to install a double din navigation. My car is an 05 coupe so yeah. please help me out! and do i really need an ac controller even though I have one in my car?

 

u need that and the dvd rom that it comes with it installs above the glove box it has a seperate door my guess is u might have to put it somewhere else like the trunk cause im assumin ur dash is probably different maybe not though i could be wrong keel lookin on ebay ive see the navigation from cars removed and go from 500 to 800

 

no no no i just want to know cuz im thinking about getting the pioneer AVIC Z1 or one of the eclipse versions. So i want to know what I would have to buy to install the navigation. I know that I'm supposed to get the double din finisher but do i need anything else?? Do i also need to buy the ac controller even though I have it on my 05 coupe right now?? anything else i need to know?

 

i have no clue i would just ask someone at a shop

 

yes you need the a/c controller the other one is part of the factory radio
