Motordyne Spacer...

yea im getting a 1/2" Basic Plenum spacer soon, already ordered it. I heard the installation is very simple but i have no idea how to do it, its obvious to remove engine cover with 10mm sockets but what do i do after that?.. Can some1 please hook me up with a DIY or anything, thanks.

i did it and put the mrav 2 in directions are very detailed and very easy to do

Make sure engine is totally cold, and take your time. Follow the directions to the letter you should have zero problems.
It is probably not necessary, I applied very small drop of motor oil on the threads of the new bolts before I started. The threads are a bit coarser than the stock.

Just becareful not to over tighten the bolts...Some member have snapped the bolts on the plenum...

dont forget to use the loc-tite... as i was installing, halfway through it, i forgot to loc-tite the bolts. and torque to specs! if you dont have a torque wrench, you can use a 1/4 ratchet and once you feel its tight, just got about 1/4 turns more. thats what i did. some may disagree.

Make sure you get a good torque wrench...very easy to install. Recheck to the bolts about a week after installation. Mine were loose.

so i use that and what is it gona tell me to do, like i turn until it hits a number or something??? (im 18 years old have no tool experience....)...

yea should be pretty basic to install...ive been tryin to save up more money for a spacer...or maybe better rims...well see what comes first...but as a joke down in so cal...i wanted to try to start a HELP RYAN OUT TO BUY A SPACER FUND...so if any of you wanna donate let me know..ill place a sticker with ur name on my car HAAHAH
