Possible to run on E3 Ethanol?

A while back somewhere i was reading a article about a guy with a modded RX-7 twin turbo and some how converted his engine so it could run off of E3. They did before and after dynos and while the guy was running on E3 he dynoed i believe 50 more HP to wheels. I guess the E3 burns alot faster and alot hotter...? Was wondering if anyone else has heard of doing this? Do you think it would be possible to do with the G, where it would be able to run off of regular 93 octane as well as E3 ethanol?

Just a interesting idea...any feedback would be interesting!

You could do it with the G, its just a matter of having the time and money to have someone convert it to run on E3. already 30% of the gasoline that goes through american pumps is E10 (a mix of 90% gas and 10% ethanol) so whether you know it or not, you have some ethanol running through yur car.

It does burn a lot quicker and hurts MPG big time but burns a lot cooler not hotter.

youd have to do a complete retune, using ethanol requires a lot more to be burned so youd have to bump up your fuel

My understanding was that E3 has a much higher octane rating, allowing FI cars to safely turn up the boost, thus making more power. I'm not sure if it will allow a n/a car to make that much more power.
